What a beauty!

She takes my breath away.  Seriously.  She was a natural, just posing on her own the whole time.  I guess you become a natural when your mother is a photographer.  She warms my heart.  Happy Valentine's Day!

Award winning photography!

Whoot whoot! Opdahl Photography was just featured for the third time in the highly acclaimed Design Aglow's website/magazine (a magazine/site which offers inspiration to other photographers). This feature includes two of my favorite bridal images. (Other awards were given for a few of my baby and wedding images.) The magazine post reads:

My two year old: He loves trains. Can you tell?

This little guy is growing up so fast.  Don't they all?  I thought I would post a few of my favorites from his 2 yr photo shoot.  We live here in Tillamook Oregon now and these were taken down by the Air Museum.  He loved pushing his little Thomas the train down the side of the "big" rusty trains.  I love photographing my children.  I haven't been able to do much work for others recently, and you can probably guess why.  Three little ones keep you pretty busy!  Sometimes I miss it, but I am having so much fun just being mom too.  I will be taking a very limited amount of customers a year now, since my family is my priority.  Thanks for looking!

My littlest one. 4 months. Crazy.

Here are just a few of my little guy's pics from his 4 month shoot.  Things are crazy around my house as the holidays are approaching....so this is all I can post for now.  Isn't he the cutest???  He giggles non-stop at anything and everything.  He is extremely ticklish and light-hearted.  So much fun!!!

My little lady.

My little sassafrass is noticing that her photo shoots are coming less and less often. (Which they are.  I slow down to once a year after age 2....except for holidays. The first two years it's: Newborn, 3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, 18 mo, and 2).  She was so delighted when I told her it's finally her turn for pictures again.  When it was over, she asked if she could do it again sometime.  I had no idea she loved it so much!  What a ham.

My littlest man!

Here is a sneak peak at my newbie.  He is so tiny and my other baby seems so big now!  This little guy is a lot of fun.  Unfortunately though, his face sprung a very bad case of acne right before picture day.  But, with a little photoshop help, you can see his real face here.  A friend made his little outfit for me and although it didn't quite turn out the way I envisioned (it may be a little on the "fluffy" side) I still thought it was cute.  What do you think?

My little 18 month old...already!

My little man is already 18 months old.  I can't believe it.  He is the first one in our family to get pictures taken in our new little town of Tillamook!  I am going to love living so close to the beach.  I thought we got some pretty cute stuff, especially considering that I captured these as an overdue prego lady...the day before I gave birth to his little brother.  (Pictures of him to come soon).  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Sorry for tooting my own horn, but I am so happy that this wonderful company "Design Aglow,"  which is a blog where photographers go for inspiration...etc, decided to publish my work again!  They just started offering a guide for photographers to help them pose wedding groups and they think I am an inspiration.  Wow.  Thanks so much.  Here's what they said:

Little Brookie (for the last time...boo hoo!)

Here are some of my favorites of little Brookie.  I have loved photographing her over the years, and I fear this may be the last time for a while...since I just moved away from her family!  We miss you guys already!  We had a great time on the shoot and got just enough photos in between rain showers. 

A Fab Family

The Weber's are friends of ours and I am so happy to show off their pics!  We had many fun moments, making it very difficult to narrow it down....hence the large post here.  But, take a gander at these beauties!  Mommy is very stylish and put a lot of thought into their clothing choices.  Don't they look Fabulous?
